Presentation of the evaluation report for AFD’s support to IFADEM

CAYAMBE presented the conclusions and recommendations included in its evaluation report for AFD’s support to IFADEM to M. Jean-Paul DE GAUDEMAR, Chancellor of the Francophonie University Agency, et M. Adama OUANE, Administrator of the International Francophone Organisation, as well as several representatives of the Organisation and the ELAN project. During the presentation, the attendees thanked CAYAMBE for the quality of its evaluation, underlying a « complete and highly instructive work » allowing to build future important evolutions for the Initiative.

CAYAMBE ATTENDS THE DIPLO’WEEK

Cayambe participates in the round table ‘Eradicating poverty eradication and reducing inequities in the world: overly ambitious goals? » at the Ecole Normale Supérieure within the framework on the Diplo’ week organized but the Institut Open Diplomacy. The round table will also include Pierre Jacquemot, President of GRET and former Ambassador, Xavier Godinot, International relations officer at ATD quart monde and Friederike Röder, Director of One France

TRAINING SESSION IN FRENCH SIGN LANGUAGE

Delivery of the last training session in French sign language iin collaboration with UNICEF, the first of its kind in Djibouti: 13 teachers from the Children Protection Center and two trainers have been provided with certificates. According to the head of the primary school for deaf and hearing impaired people of the Mother-Children Protection Center « this training is really only bringing valuable assistance: next year the teachers will be able to communicate more easily with their pupils! « 

POSSIBLE FUTURS – HORIZON 2030-2050

The President of Cayambe Education presented to the press and partners from the Association Futuribles International the findings within the  « Education »  chapter of the Vigie – Futurs possibles à l’horizon 2030-2050 report. She coordinated the writing with Alain Michel, associated expert. This prospective survey of major and emerging trends on a national, european and global scale has been realized in collaboration with the former deputy director of education at the OECD and the Director of Forecasting at the AFPA (See coverage by « Les Echos » on 12 January 2015)
